Glass accounts for over 80 percent of the total area of a modern system window, and its performance directly defines the overall quality, texture, and service life of the entire fenestration unit. Traditional insulated glass units have long suffered from an inherent industry flaw: seal failure, moisture intrusion and internal fogging. Once the seal deteriorates, it obstructs exterior views and drastically weakens the window’s energy efficiency performance. Today, glass system innovation represented by 4SG sealing technology is completely eliminating this long-standing industry pain point.

Breaking away from the conventional insulated glass structure combining butyl sealant, desiccant, and polysulfide sealant, the 4SG process adopts thermoplastic reactive bonding technology to achieve molecular-level integration of glass panes, spacer frames, and sealing materials. This integrated four-in-one sealing structure improves water vapor resistance by more than 80 percent and delivers an argon gas retention rate far exceeding industry benchmarks. Backed by a 25-year sealing lifespan guarantee, it fundamentally eliminates the risks of internal fogging and gas leakage.

Meanwhile, the functionality of architectural glass continues to evolve and upgrade. From high-performance thermal insulation Low-E glass and maintenance-free TiO₂ self-cleaning glass to power-generating photovoltaic glass that turns windows into miniature power stations, glass is no longer a simple transparent partition. It has evolved into a smart building interface integrating energy conservation, structural safety, and power generation capabilities. Leading fenestration manufacturers are adopting systematic solution combinations such as triple-pane dual-cavity glass paired with 4SG sealing and self-cleaning coatings. This upgrade transforms ordinary building components into high-tech fenestration systems that deliver superior indoor comfort and long-term building performance.
